Dubai 19 July 2022:<\/strong> The Dubai-based Olive Gaea providing Net Zero solutions to
\nprivate and government entities, has officially launched the Newtrl app. The company
\naims to engage and reward employees for their sustainable behaviours and drive
\ncorporate success via measurable and fun climate action.<\/p>\n

Officially the first corporate app to bring employees and organisations together on the
\ncommon sustainability agenda across the MENATI region, the Newtrl mission is to turn
\nsingle daily behaviours into powerful, collective, and positive climate action to achieve
\nNet Zero emissions and limit global warming to 1.5\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Vivek Tripathi, the CEO and Founder of Olive Gaea, said: “The global climate crisis
\ncannot be solved by governments and businesses alone. The good news is that post
\nCOVID-19, there’s been increased research for purpose and climate action: people
\nwant to live a more sustainable life. They also expect organisations to take responsibility
\nfor their environmental impact”.<\/p>\n

“That’s why today, businesses have the unprecedented opportunity to turn this desire
\nfor sustainability into powerful, collective action. As the world approaches 7 billion
\npeople, almost half of them are employed; employees have therefore an immense

According to research 74% of UAE consumers say companies behaving sustainably is
\nmore important than before COVID-19; globally, 81% \u200b\u200bof consumers feel strongly that
\ncompanies should help improve the environment. Furthermore, 72% of millennials,
\napproximately 75% of the global workforce four years from now, are willing to cut their
\nsalary to work for a sustainable company.<\/p>\n

From a corporate perspective, an engaged workforce is critical, as it increases
\nproductivity and retention rates, reduces absenteeism, helps attract talent, and
\nimproves customer happiness.<\/p>\n

“While there are many ways to increase engagement, we know that the most effective
\none is through sustainability initiatives”, added Tripathi.<\/p>\n

Newtrl enables organisations to improve their sustainability performance and employee
\nengagement for a carbon-neutral world. Employees can choose to take pledges and
\ntangible actions to make their lifestyle more sustainable and help their organisation
\nachieve measurable carbon reduction targets.<\/p>\n

\nfor Scope 3 emissions, and sustainability reporting. It also helps educate employees
\nabout sustainability contributing to a positive ripple effect.<\/p>\n
